Community Health Worker Certificate
草莓视频APP offers a approved Community Health Worker (CHW) Certification. This certificate combines four 3-credit Health Science courses (HLTH 105, HLTH 160, HLTH 225, and HLTH 298) along with a 1-credit 40-hour practicum experiential learning course. Upon completing this program, participants will be qualified to apply for the CHW Certification. The program is based on the Germantown Campus, but can be completed mostly virtually!

5 steps to earn your way to a CHW Certification:
1. Register as a MC student.
Students should register in the Community Health Program 186A
2. Search the Class Schedule new window to choose in-person or virtual options
CHW certification course requirements:
- : Personal and Community Health (3 credits)
- : The Science and Theory of Health (3 credits)
- : Introduction to Health Behaviors (3 credits)
- : Global Health Capstone (3 credits)
- Only offered in the Spring semesters
- Prerequisites: HLTH160 and HLTH225
- : 40-hour practicum (1 credit)
- Only offered in the Spring semesters
- Prerequisites: HLTH160 and HLTH225; Corequisite: HLTH298
