Transferring for a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Students who plan to pursue a four-year bachelor's degree in Accounting are advised to follow the Associate of Arts (A.A.) Business, and work with an advisor to plan their course work and transfer to a four-year institution. While ACCT 221 and 222 in the A.A. degree are accepted by partners with whom MC has transfer agreements, upper-level accounting courses may be subject to review by transfer institutions.
Accounting Certificate
The Accounting Certificate program is designed primarily for adult learners who desire to change to or enhance an accounting career as well as students with international accounting credentials who are interested in U.S. standards. It is also relevant for students who have earned a bachelor’s degree in another field of study and want to become eligible to sit for the Uniform CPA Examination. You can learn more about accounting career pathways, program outcomes, required courses, and how to get started by visiting the Accounting Certificate page.
